How to Tell What Version of WebLogic You Are On
cd
/d E:\Oracle\Middleware\wlserver_10.3\server\bin
setWLSEnv.cmd
java
weblogic.version
cd
/d E:\Oracle\Middleware\utils\bsu
bsu.cmd
-view -status=applied -prod_dir=E:\Oracle\Middleware\wlserver_10.3
So this installation is 10.3.6.0 (vanilla).
Upgrading WLS to 10.3.6.0.8
Firstly copy all of the patch files to “E:\Oracle\Middleware\utils\bsu\cache_dir”
- create the folder if it does not exist.
Then run the following commands:
cd /d
E:\Oracle\Middleware\utils\bsu
bsu.cmd
-install -patch_download_dir=E:\Oracle\Middleware\utils\bsu\cache_dir
-patchlist=T5F1 -prod_dir=E:\Oracle\Middleware\wlserver_10.3 -verbose
Now we need to verify our WebLogic version:
cd
/d E:\Oracle\Middleware\wlserver_10.3\server\bin
setWLSEnv.cmd
java
weblogic.version
cd
/d E:\Oracle\Middleware\utils\bsu
bsu.cmd
-view -status=applied -prod_dir=E:\Oracle\Middleware\wlserver_10.3
So this installation is 10.3.6.0.8 (TSF1/18040640).
Then the Managed Servers can be started up:
